Janet Air ready for boarding at the E. G. & G. Facility at Mccarran Airport.

Janet Airlines is the supposedly "secret airline" run by the U.S. Government to shuttle workers to Area 51 near Groom Lake in the Nevada Desert. Area 51 is considered by most UFO buffs to be the secret base where extraterrestial aircraft, crashed spaceships and space alien bodies are kept. Janet Air uses mostly unmarked Boeing 737-200 aircraft painted white with a red stripe down the side. Starting about 4:00 a.m most mornings workers arrive at the security gate operated by E G & G, a government management, contractor in waves of about 130 people to board the planes for the short trip to Area 51 facility. Around three in the afternoon the planes bring the workers back to the terminal. From an observers point of view the whole thing does look a bit mysterious, but there doesn’t seem to be any attempt to keep people from shooting pictures of the place or it’s operations on the edge of one of the main runways at Mccarran Airport.

I posted these shots after several of my friends asked me to. I’m not much of a conspiracy theory kind of guy though — it all seems pretty straight forward to me.
