My mother bought cherries yesterday, and I just couldnt resist. Todays TRP group was "White Space Wednesday" so it was the perfect excuse to do this.
It sort of reminds me of "Pacha" logo, a very famous night club. Well, it actually is a chain of night clubs. I have never gone inside one, but they are very famous.

I’ve been working on this for the past few days, tweaking the letterforms here and there. It’s just an experiment with Photoshop and typography. I’ve been trying to design a logo for myself with my name but haven’t been happy with the results so far. I’m not fully pleased with this either, but I think it’s kinda cool anyway. I based it on Bodoni although I don’t know why ’cause I don’t really like that typeface. I also realized that my surname is horrible for design – those three oddly spaced ascenders amidst letters at the regular x-height and a captial T which makes kerning and proper spacing a pain in the ass. Bleh. First name isn’t bad though.
The photo of the stars is from here (I wish I could capture something like this). The constellation Leo is visible in it, which happens to be my sign, although I only used this image in particular ’cause it’s so clean and of good quality for a space photo (most aren’t).
