Halloween Time and My Talk with Amy the Pagan Witch
I had the interesting experience of meeting, talking to and learning a great deal from a very nice woman named Amy. Amy is a articulate bright soft-spoken woman. She lives in the southern part of the United States and her religious or spiritual life is Pagan. I know little or next to nothing about Paganism. I know it was the spiritual thinking of many in Europe before Christianity. Besides that I know Halloween is a celebrated time for the Pagans. I personally believe that science and the humanities can be bridged together in my lifetime using the brain, mind, physical body, and the spiritual soul body. The Old Testament refers to a race of giants as the Anakeim, Nefilim (Nephilim), Elohim; Egyptians called them Neter. During the Sumerian civilization, they were the Annunaki. It was a straight drop into the ceiling entrance of the underground vault near Notre Dame de Marceille where a hiker was injured during a fall in 1995. When his companion ran to the church for help, the Lazarist priests in the Basilica feigned ignorance of the site. Over the centuries surveyors have noted the presence of these underground bases below the water level of the River Aude. The Blackout of 1965 and the Fireball
I live in New York. In 1965 we had a huge blackout that covered about six other states and parts of Canada. It was in the fall, November I believe. I was about 14 or so at the time. I recall the blackout and all the fuss about it. My parents spent the day running around to provide us with lights, heat and food. We ate hot dogs cooked over the fireplace in the living room and played games. My Dad had a little transistor radio that provided updates about the blackout and general news. Read more…
