We Are Our Own Time Keepers

The subject of time keeps coming up in my conversations with people. I constantly hear that time isn't like it use to be. I know time seems to move quicker as we age. All of us recall those long lazy days of childhood when a day lasted a week and a summer seemed like a lifetime. Now summer starts, we get in a swim or two, and before we know it we are covering our grills and raking up leaves. Christmas, it is here again, but wait, didn't we just pack away last years Holiday Season? There is no question time seems to be racing faster and faster. Our days seem shorter filled with more to do and less time to rest or relax. Our weeks spin into months and then years without our being able to sort out the passing days. It is as if the world is spinning faster and we are simply trying to hold on for dear life! Read more…

The Why of What It Is?

Art Champoux has been an UFO investigator since 1964. He have worked with Ray Fowler, Walter Webb, John Keel, a lady that he can not name, and several different UFO groups. In the 1960s he was with APRO, CAPER, NIACP, then when APRO went out he was with NICAP and then APRO, Now he is with MUFON. The world of the paranormal has always fascinated him as even as a small boy he had some eerie happenings. His Great grandmother was a spirit medium so maybe he has inherited something. He is a hypnotist and has written for several publications and his leanings are much like John Keels. He beleives there is an ultra force, not from outer space, but much like John's and even Jaques Vallees' contention...we are but one dimension out of many that reign on this planet.

What is it that in the human psyche that fascinates people to look for ghosts, UFO entities, and anything paranormal. Is it a human trait or is it something that is cultural or is it that something that lurks in the human mind to confuse, amuse or is it just that we like to be frightened. Maybe it is like the rush of a good scare that enables the human conscience to program us to the edge of our seat and want it to be real but hope that is not real: a contradiction of our cosmic awareness. Do we hope it is not real but yet want something to be out there that is out of this mundane world? I guess I am asking if people really like the weird and macabre. I think that this is part of mans internal psyche. To want to be frightened but yet want to believe it is not true. It takes us away from the 9-5 world of repetitiveness. But the rush of really scary stuff leaves us with the night-lights on far into the evening.

When I started investigating UFOs I thought I would want to find out the truth of the enigmatic world of the mysterious alien crafts. But yet I got pulled into the world of the MIBs and the paranormal. That was more then scary. To have things appearing then disappearing right in front of me. To the invisible "something" move my maps and take my research and file folders but yet no sign of entry in my house! I know how to protect my house from getting opened when I was not there, but yet something or somebody did!

But who or what did! As I have stated elsewhere that is when John Keel came into through my life in the form of snail mails in the 60s. Enigmatic phone calls; MIBs following my family and me; cars that would disappear in plain sight and phone calls that would have roosters crowing in the back ground when I was calling did not live in the country and neither was I.

UFOLOGY, I found out, was not all about science and I found out about that the hard way. Mainstream UFOlogist like Jacques Vallee, Ray Fowler and Kevin Randle among others found out the hard way that the "quacks" like me were telling the truth. Even the founders of APRO the LORENZENS wrote about Flying Saucer occupants and the weird zone.

The nuts and bolts of UFO research takes one into the paranormal world of the world of John Keel, and my new friend Brad Steiger. To many things happen to good people. Much like the X files started trying to find out about the truth of UFOS and the weird world around them. But the writers did a good job of pulling them into other areas where they did not want to go.

On of my many contacts told me that some of the episodes of the X Files were based on real events. I do not want to imply they were but some one did imply that to me that they definitely were based on some cases a secret agency out there looking into these things. I cannot prove it or disprove it. But my take on it and the evidence that is now coming to light the under the Freedom of information Act is confirming some of the things that went on.

Is it our government, or the aliens or the paranormal or just maybe the ultra rich that rules what happens? One of my favorite researchers is Jim Marrs. I have all his books. The Alien Agenda is a great book. If you want to read about the 9/11 fiasco read Jims' book The Terror Conspiracy and also Rule by Secrecy. Few know that a fuel tank was attached to the bottom of the plane that hit the first tower. A military man confirmed this to me. But I think the greatest mystery of human kind is why the aliens of the past, present and future are here. Are they here for the good of mankind or are they our worst nightmare.

Much like the proposed Alien Agenda - what is the agenda of the world's leaders? I think that bothers me the most.
