The subject of time keeps coming up in my conversations with people. I constantly hear that time isn't like it use to be. I know time seems to move quicker as we age. All of us recall those long lazy days of childhood when a day lasted a week and a summer seemed like a lifetime. Now summer starts, we get in a swim or two, and before we know it we are covering our grills and raking up leaves. Christmas, it is here again, but wait, didn't we just pack away last years Holiday Season? There is no question time seems to be racing faster and faster. Our days seem shorter filled with more to do and less time to rest or relax. Our weeks spin into months and then years without our being able to sort out the passing days. Brad Steiger, the prolific author of over 162 books and a regular contributer to UFODIgest.com, is writing two new books. One about Monsters and another about Ghosts and is looking for help from you. He is currently collecting real life experiences, true stories of the supernatural and the paranormal. Imagine your story appearing in my of Brad's best selling books. I think I will let Brad explain, in his own words, what he needs:

What I am looking for is true, up-close-and personal encounters with ghosts or monsters. I am not just seeking encounters with good old Bigfoot, cat creatures, or lake monsters, but with the vast menacing menagerie of the creatures from the darkside. Local monsters are welcome. If the experiencers knows, of a troll under a local bridge, that is as important to this book as the Loch Ness Monster. If the experiencers have photos, that would be wonderful.

Basically, the requirements are the same for the ghost book. Personal encounters with spirits of the dead, poltergeists, phantoms, animal spirits, spirit mimics, nature spirits, and so forth. Good photographs would also be very welcome.

I am earnestly seeking encounters with REAL vampires--not the movie vampires, the Buffy-types, the attractive, sensual, seductive bloodsuckers--but real human vampires, those who follow organized cults or groups or those who create their own rationale for blood sucking. I also want to hear from those who may believe that they are real vampires.

I also would like to receive encounters with the true, original vampires--the hideous wraiths who inhabit the shadows and steal the life energy, perhaps the very soul, of their victims. The fantasy vampires of literature and cinema are virile gods and gorgeous goddesses who promise their victims immortality. Real vampires make no such promises. There is no pay for any of these encounters, but fame and glory may well result, plus a copy of the book. If the experiencers are members of a research group, they are free to plug their work and provide contact information.
