Apollo 14 astronaut Dr Edgar Mitchell disclosed, July 23, 2008, during a brief online UK talk radio interview (Kerrang Radio) that aliens have made contact with us and it has been covered up for more than 60 years.
January 31, 1971, Dr. Edgar Mitchell became the sixth man to walk on the moon. The Apollo 14 mission was NASA's third manned lunar landing.
While Dr. Mitchell has alluded to the topics of UFOs and aliens in the past, he has never actually claimed to have any direct knowledge to contact of aliens by our governments. However now in an earth shaking radio interview Dr. Mitchell, now 77 years old, came forward for the first time with astonishing news of our government's cover-up and knowledge of such contact. He said that he has been a part of military circles and intelligent circles where this information is considered public knowledge that we have been visited. "I have been involved with much of this work, it is not my main work, it is not my main interest, but I have been deeply involved with committees and certain research programs with very creditable scientist and intelligence people that do know the real inside story, and I am not hesitant to talk about it." He said that we have been involved in a number of contacts and the Roswell incident was real and a number of other contacts are real and still ongoing.
Dr. Mitchell said that "Aliens have contacted humans several times, but governments have hidden the truth for 60 years." He also said that he was aware of many UFO visits to Earth during his time at NASA. However each one was always covered up. He said that he has "been privileged enough to be in on the fact that we have been visited on this planet." He also said that "The UFO phenomena is real, but it has been covered up by our governments for quite a long time." He continued saying "There is more nonsense out there about this than real knowledge, but it is a real phenomena and has been well covered up by all our governments."
These aliens were described by him as "little people, who look strange to us." One can only assume that he was referring too the "Grays".
He was asked if he thought that these aliens were hostile. He stated that our technology is "not nearly as sophisticated" as theirs "had they been hostile", then "'we would be been gone by now".
Dr. Mitchell believes that the information is slowly being leaked out and there is now enough evidence that all one has to do is to listen to the international news or search the Internet to find this information.
