Weather Scrub statement for Delta IV GOES-O launch

The scheduled launch of a United Launch Alliance Delta IV rocket with the NASA/NOAA GOES-O satellite was scrubbed today due to thunderstorms and lightning within 10 miles of the launch pad during the launch window.

The launch is rescheduled for June 27 with a launch window of 6:14-7:14 p.m. EDT from Space Launch Complex-37 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida.

There is a 40 percent chance of acceptable launch weather during the window tomorrow.

ULA is conducting the launch on behalf of Boeing Launch Systems.
